The discount broker house 5paisa.com, on Monday, announced that it has launched a free app which will help the investors in the stock market understand about safe investments and successful wealth creation.
The app which has been named, 5paisa school, will focus on the micro learning and will house several 1 minute modules which will meet the expectations of the young investors, the discount brokerage house said in a statement.
5paisa.com, which is the only listed discount brokerage house in India has more than 7 lakh active users and offers equity investing at 0 brokerages, mutual funds, insurance, and loans, among others on its platform.
Prakarsh Gagdani, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of 5paisa.com said, “We have seen many millennials and new investors losing money in equity due to lack of adequate knowledge and guidance. 5paisa school is a free app and can be used by anyone with simple two-step authentication process,”.
He added, “As we see millions of new investors investing into equities every month, investor education becomes paramount,”
According to Gagdani, the equity participation has witnessed a significant growth in the last few months owing to the advancement in technology, increased accessibility of the internet and also the availability of high quality and affordable platforms in the country.

The 5paisa school has also collaborated with the industry experts in India for live webinars and will host content created by the top influences in India to help the investors learn the advanced trading techniques, the discount brokerage house said.
The content on the platform will be available in both textual and video formats in order to make the entire process of learning not just simple, but also enjoyable.
The 5paisa school will also offer certification on course completion, the firm added.
5paisa school is a collection of modules catering to the different aspects of the market.
The modules which are offered in the application have been designed to guide the investors through the entire journey of investment in the stock market. As a matter of fact, there are several modules which are designed in a way where they are merely a 1 minute reads and cover the gist of an entire topic.
