However, there have been other stories containing rumours about the Pixel Watch 2’s specifications. A new leaked promo video claimed more features of the smartwatch and compared it to the Pixel Watch.
A report from 91Mobiles shared some exclusive information leaked by Kamila Wojciechowska. It features a promotional video that teases fresh Pixel Watch 2 details. Fitbit’s multi-path heart rate sensor is believed to be included in the wearable, allowing for heartbeat tracking even during intense physical activity.
The Pixel Watch 2 is rumoured to have a number of health-related functions based on Fitbit’s stress management system. The body-response tracking system will assist the smartwatch in monitoring the user’s stress levels. Furthermore, stress would be sensed via cEDA (continuous electrodermal activity – miniscule beads of sweat) inputs.
It will also reportedly include a number of fitness and safety features. The smartwatch is supposed to get automatic reminders for fitness schedules based on user activity monitoring. Pace Training is believed to aid in the tracking of the user’s pace. To ensure user safety, the Pixel Watch 2 is supposed to allow users to set a timer and receive reminders before disclosing information such as location or contacts.
Another feature expected in the future Pixel Watch 2 is Emergency Sharing, which would allow users to share their current position with emergency contacts. It could also aid in the exchange of medical information in emergency situations.
Furthermore, the smartwatch is expected to have a battery life of up to 24 hours with an always-on display. The Pixel Watch 2 will also reportedly support quick charging, allowing users to charge from 0 to 100% in 75 minutes.
