The diverse array of characters, visuals, music and other intriguing elements within the game have contributed to its widespread popularity and made it a global sensation.
Japanese multinational electronics manufacturing giant, Casio has collaborated with the esports giant and the mastermind behind League of Legends, Riot Games to launch G-shock watches. The latest additions to the G-shock family the GM-B2100LL and GA-110LL feature the full-metal GM-B2100 with octagonal bezel and the GA-110 with its characteristic three-dimensional dial, respectively. The watches give a truly immersive experience of the gaming universe of the League of Legends.
The game was launched in the United States in 2009 and had transformed into a smash hit by garnering a monthly user base of 100 million. The game integrates high-speed, action-packed real-time strategy (RTS) gameplay with elements from the role-playing game (RPG) genre, giving the players an exhilarating sense of speed and excitement. This competitive edge has helped it strike an indelible mark in the realm of esports, with the establishment of professional leagues spanning the globe.
The Game World Technology-inspired GM-B2100LL features Hextech fusion of magic and technology giving a realistic experience of the League of Legends world. The watch gives a vintage look and feel on account of the bezel and other parts which have been given an antiqued treatment. Blue accents incorporated on the LCD and minute hand are characteristic of Hextech technology.
The GA-110LL, on the other hand, features the renowned character, Jinx. The bezel and band incorporate a vibrant and striking colour palette to highlight the same. The band and the pointer hand on the small dial positioned at 9 o’clock evoke the image of Jinx’s iconic “weapon,” the rocket.
