- Amazfit, a smart wearable company originating in China, has introduced its Amazfit Falcon smartwatch to the Indian market.
- The Amazfit Falcon has been given a price tag of 44,999 and is being marketed by the manufacturer as a “premium multi-sport GPS watch.”
- Beginning on December 3, consumers will be able to place orders for the Falcon smartwatch on the main website of the brand.
The Amazfit Falcon, which was first shown off a month ago, debuted in India yesterday. It is only available in a single shade of Supersonic Black and can be purchased for the price of INR44,999. Beginning on December 3, it will be available for purchase on the official Amazfit website in India; pre-orders have already commenced today.
Those who place a pre-order for the Falcon will receive a complimentary Amazfit Multi-Functional Duffle/Sports Bag, which has a value of 1,999 Indian Rupees.
The Amazfit Falcon is a high-end, military-grade smartwatch that has a unibody construction made of aircraft-grade TC4 titanium. In addition to this, it has been successful in all 15 military-grade tests that enabled the smartwatch to bag the MIL-STD 810G accreditation.
In addition, the Amazfit Falcon is water-resistant up to a depth of 200 metres, a new feature for the company’s line of smartwatches. The Zepp OS is what powers the Amazfit Falcon, which also has a 1.28-inch always-on AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 416 by 416 pixels.
The screen is made of sapphire crystal glass, which has a Mohs hardness value of 9/10 and protects it from scratches.
Amazfit has equipped Zepp Coach with an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered smart coaching algorithm in Falcon. This algorithm offers advice to the user depending on the user’s unique physical attributes.
The Zepp Coach is able to determine whether a person is overtraining and if so, will change the severity of the workout routine to ensure that the user is receiving the appropriate amount of exercise. In addition to that, it provides the user with ‘rest days.’
This smartwatch has over 150 different built-in sports modes and comes with a sophisticated training assistance system. These activities vary from high-speed water activities such as kite surfing to more sedate games such as the golf swing. For competitive players, there is also a Triathlon mode.
As per the information supplied by the company, the data from the sports mode stays shown on the display throughout the whole of an activity carried out by a user. Moreover, the smartwatch has the capability to store audios, which can then be accessed and played back using Bluetooth headphones.
Underneath the hood of the Amazfit Falcon is a battery with a capacity of 500 mAh. According to the manufacturer, this device is capable of providing the durability of up to 2 weeks under normal conditions.
The robust wristwatch comes equipped with a variety of health and wellness functions, such as one that monitors heart rate, another that measures blood oxygen concentration and still another that keeps track of your sleep.
In addition to that, it is compatible with six different satellite positioning systems in addition to dual-band GPS (L1 and L5), which enables precise route mapping and stable receiver sensitivity.
