World’s Fastest Charging Phone Realme GT 3 Launched at MWC 2023 In Barcelona

Realme GT 3 Launched Globally 240W Fast Charging That Can Charge A Phone In 10 Mins

The Realme GT 3, which was first introduced in China as the Realme GT Neo 5, is now officially rolled out to the public. It is supposedly Realme’s fastest-charging smartphone. This is the fastest-charging commercially available phone in the world, able to fully charge the 4,600 mAh battery in under 10 minutes with a charging speed of up to 240W.

Realme has employed a large vapour chamber that covers the phone’s SoC and more than half of the battery to control battery temperature. To track heat, there are 13 temperature sensors on board.

It takes only 4 minutes to charge the Realme GT 3 from 0 to 50%, according to data provided by the company. However it takes 9 minutes and 30 seconds to charge it completely. Please keep in mind that these numbers were reached under ideal conditions; under normal use, the phone may require a little longer to charge than other smartphones with fast charging capabilities.

The smartphone is equipped with a Pulse Interface RGB lighting system on the rear that supports 25 unique colours and functions as a notification LED for calls, messages, etc.

An additional feature known as “intelligent mode selection” intelligently adjusts the power according to usage – travel, sleep, and driving and Realme promises the battery will keep 80 percent of its capacity after 1,600 cycles.

The Realme GT 3’s features are not as advanced as those of the recently released Xiaomi 13 Pro or the OnePlus 11. The phone has at least 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and it is powered by the slightly antiquated Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Processor.

A specialised display chipset plus, which optimises colours and frame rate during gaming, powers the phone’s 6.74-inch AMOLED screen, which has FHD+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and HDR capabilities. In order to increase network reception, the smartphone also incorporates HyperSmart Antenna Switching 2.0 technology, which covers every facet of the device.

The phone is backed with a triple-camera module on the back that features a 50 MP Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS, an ultra-wide sensor of 8MP and a macro sensor of 2MP. Realme has stated that the Realme GT 3 will receive three years of Android upgrades and four years of security patches. The device ships with an Android 13-based version with realmeUI 4 on top. The phone’s base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option is priced at $649, which is equivalent to about Rs 53,000.
