Highlights:

  • It is expected that the Samsung Galaxy A14 will launch soon.
  • The Samsung Galaxy A14 will include a 50MP main camera.
  • It reportedly has a regular 5,000mAh battery.

In the upcoming weeks, Samsung is likely to unveil the Samsung Galaxy A14, a new entry-level smartphone in the A-series. The Samsung Galaxy A14 has recently been found in the Geekbench benchmark database. The processor and memory information was available in the device’s benchmark listing. The new Samsung Galaxy A14’s camera and battery specifications have just been made public in a fresh report by GalaxyClub.

The new entry-level A-series smartphone will include some design modifications, according to the Samsung Galaxy A14 renders that were previously leaked online. Let’s look at the Samsung Galaxy A14’s camera and battery specifications here.

According to a rumour from GalaxyClub, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A14 will retain the 50MP camera with high resolution from its predecessor. For those who don’t know, the Galaxy A13 has a quad-rear camera system with a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. However, given that the Galaxy A14’s triple-rear camera arrangement was disclosed in the leaked renders, Samsung will probably skip one of the sensors this time.

According to the source, the Samsung Galaxy A14 would also include a 5,000mAh battery (model number EB-BA146ABY). This indicates that there won’t be any improvements in battery life compared to the Galaxy A13. The forthcoming A-series smartphone, according to the rumour, will reportedly have a 13MP front camera, an upgrade compared to the Galaxy A13’s 8MP sensor.

The MediaTek Helio G80 processor and Mali G52 GPU of the Samsung Galaxy A14 were found recently in the Geekbench benchmark database. Numerous smartphones, including the Redmi 9 Prime, POCO M2, Realme Narzo 10, and Tecno Pova, use the Helio G80, an old processor.

It is verified that the Galaxy A14 will be sold with a 4GB memory configuration. It is also likely to debut with a 6GB RAM option. OneUI, which is based on Android 13, will come preloaded on the device.

The Samsung Galaxy A14’s renders, which have previously surfaced online, show that the device will include a triple rear camera setup. The rectangular camera module design appears to have been ditched by Samsung, and the back panel has many similarities with the Samsung Galaxy A04s. The upcoming Galaxy A14 will have a full-screen display, a waterdrop notch, and a wide chin, according to the leaked renderings. The smartphone will have a 3.5mm audio jack in addition to a Type-C charging port.
