According to various sources, iOS 16 is unlikely to get any big design updates. Instead, Apple is reported to be focused on improving things beneath the hood while releasing a few minor updates here and there.

For starters, Apple is expected to reveal an enhanced version of Smart Stack in iOS 16, which will be bigger and better. The new feature, codenamed “InfoShack,” appears to incorporate numerous widgets in a huge block. Users will not have to swipe up or down to move between widgets, unlike Smart Stack. Instead, the larger block will allow you to see numerous widgets at the same time. The rumour mill also suggests that InfoShack will contain Control Centre choices such as Flashlight, Apple TV remote, and so on.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, iOS 16 will bring significant changes to notifications. In addition, new health-tracking features will be included in iOS 16. Apple is also expected to release the public beta in the coming days. The stable public release, on the other hand, is scheduled in September.
