Sony launches WH-CH710N the wireless headphone with active noise cancellation technology in India as has put a price tag of Rs. 9,990. The wireless noise-canceling headphone was launched in April around the globe for $ 200 (close to Rs. 15,200) which is much expensive than the price it has been launched in India.
The price in India has been kept keeping in mind the competitive and growing affordable noise-canceling headphones market in India.
The Song WH-CH710N headphone is the successor of WH-CH700N wireless noise cancellation headphones which were launched in 2019 at a price of Rs. 12,990, and promised better performance and battery life at a more pocket-friendly price.
The Sony WH-CH710N promises improved performance of the battery life as the company claims it can give a backup of up to 35 hours per charge. Additionally, this headphone comes equipped with quick charge capabilities, the company claims that a 10-minute charge can offer battery worth 60 minutes of use.

Also, the noise cancellation headphones are powered by 30mm dynamic drivers and also support Google Assistant which you can use right from the headphones.
The over-ear fit of the headphones makes sure that you are comfortable while the active noise cancellation helps in improving the listening experience as it blocks the ambient noise. The headphones support both SBC and AAC Bluetooth codecs, which is a step-down, in our eyes, as the predecessor WH-CH700N supported aptX and aptX HD Bluetooth codecs as well.
An important thing to note here about the Sony WH-CH710N is the price factor. Sony is taking an aggressive stance with the pricing in India, especially for the audio products. Compared to the rest of the World, Sony has made them much more affordable in India. By doing so Sony hopes that it win over more customers. Pricing these headphones at Rs. 9,990 takes on competition from Sennheiser, and Indian player Playgo BH70, which offers premium features at a price which does not put huge pressure on the wallet.
