Vivo is launching the X300 series of mobile phones in India, which consists of the X300 Pro and X300. The X300 series devices feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC choice of chips and will come preloaded with Vivo’s latest version of Origin OS 6, which is based on Android 16. This marks the first time Vivo has had any type of official partnership with another major manufacturer for its software.
Each device has specifications that are consistent with flagship products, and they also come equipped with premium camera systems, developed by Vivo in conjunction with global optical leader ZEISS. As a result, these devices would be ideal for professional photographers who expect high-quality images.
Imaging That Wows — ZEISS-Tuned Triple Cameras & Big Selfies
Vivo X300 Pro
On the back, there are three lenses: the main sensor is a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-828 with optical image stabilization (OIS), there is a second ultra-wide angle 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 lens, and there is a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (with OIS and Zeiss tuning) for optical zoom photography.
The front camera is a 50-megapixel camera that provides high resolution for selfie and video calls.
Additionally, the Pro model has an advanced telephoto extender attachment that provides increased zoom capabilities, making it useful for distant shots, nature, or architectural photography.
Vivo X300:
On the back of the X300, the main sensor is a 200-megapixel Samsung HPB lens with optical image stabilization (OIS), and it has two additional 50-megapixel ultrawide and telephoto (an optical lens) lenses, allowing for a wide variety of shot types from wide-angle, to standard, to zoomed in.
The front camera on the X300 is the same as that on the X300 Pro, with a 50-megapixel resolution for excellent quality selfies.
Therefore, the camera systems on the X300 series of smartphones have positioned them as some of the most photography-oriented smartphones launched this year in India.

Software: First Vivo Phones in India on OriginOS 6
OriginOS 6 (based on Android 16) will be the first iteration of an Android Device to have the latest OriginOS 6 shipped with it in India under the X300 lineup. A departure from its previous Vivo skins, the software will provide improved animations, better optimization and continued long-term support for its users. According to reports, Vivo is offering five years of OS updates and seven years of security patches for this series of smartphones.
In this way, the X300 range isn’t just a flagship smartphone, but rather a smartphone that’s been created with quality components to ensure it’s a device that won’t have to be replaced after a year.
