A Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 was found on Amazon for a while, ahead of its expected launch on August 10 at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event. Prior to its anticipated August 10 premiere at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event, a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 listing was active on Amazon for a while. Although it can no longer be seen on Amazon Netherlands, the listing is still accessible using Google Cachedview. The listing notes that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will have a slightly different aspect ratio and a thinner body in addition to its design. Additionally, it might include a version of Android 12L that’s also built for tablets and foldable phones. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be released at an upcoming event, according to Samsung.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 will still have a 7.6-inch main screen and a 6.2-inch outer display. The outer display, however, will have a 23.1:9 aspect ratio, which is wider than the last-generation model’s 25:9. In contrast to the 5:4 aspect ratio, the fully unfolded display will give a 21.6:18 aspect ratio.
Additionally, according to the listing, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will have a “Dynamic AMOLED 2X” panel with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and minor changes to the placement of the selfie camera. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 will have an unfolded thickness of 15.8mm, which is about equivalent to the 16mm of the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
For a premium finish, the Amazon listing showcases a new gold colour. We can also see a midnight blue version with a distinctive case that includes an SPen chamber. There also appears to be a grey variation. Once more, a pill-shaped cutout is used to house the rear cameras.
