The Realme 7 Pro has started receiving the initial software updates less than a week from its launch in India. Even though the update is not listed on the official website of Realme at this time, a leading tech website of India spotted the update on the Realme 7 review unit they had received.
The update version is named RMX2170_11_A.11 and along with several optimisations, it also brings the latest September security patch.
Though the phone has been launched in India it is yet to go on sale in India — the Realme 7 Pro is scheduled to go on sale starting from 14th of September while the Realme 7 will go on sale starting 10th of September.

The Realme 7 Pro update has a size of 262MB.
The changelog from the RMX2170_11_A.11 update for the Realme 7 Pro show it houses the latest September Android security patch, along with the system, camera, and charging optimisations.
The infamous invalid touch control issues have also been optimised, also, the “Mute-Bell-Vibrate” icon state and clarity of the camera while using third-party apps have also been optimised.
The optimisation to the camera includes “preview fluency” in the Portrait mode while using the rear camera, HDR clarity when using the front camera, HDR clarity in Night mode, and also the probabilistic colour cast issue in the Ultra Macro mode.
The changelog also stated that the probabilistic power display issue that occurred while charging the phone from a low battery has also been fixed.
The RMX2170_11_A.11 update for the Realme 7 Pro is most likely to be rolled out when the phone goes on sale from September 14, customers should receive it with this build version out of the box, or with a notification for this update.
Currently, it has not been cleared whether the Realme 7 has also got this update as well.

The Realme 7 Pro houses a 6.4 inches Full HD+ (1080 X 2400 Pixels) Super AMOLED Display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC which has eight cores. The phone also features 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
The phone offers 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage along with a 4,500 mAh battery which supports 65W fast charging. On the camera, it is equipped with a Quad Rear Camera setup and a single selfie shooter housed in the hole-punch cutout with 32 MP capabilities.
The rear camera houses, 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP setup.
