Apple Surprised Us With These Unexpected Launches At WWDC 2022 Event

By: TechTalkCounty

Apple's annual WWDC developer conference has ended, with the company revealing iOS 16 for the iPhone, as well as software updates for the Apple Watch, Mac, and iPad.

Here's what we didn't see coming at WWDC 2022.

Who doesn't want to turn their iPhone into a webcam? Apple's revelation that we would soon be able to plug our iPhones into Macs for webcam use was thrilling.

Use your iPhone as a webcam for your Mac:

The best thing is that you don't need to connect the iPhone to the Mac; the computer will recognise it right away.

All-new CarPlay:

The all-new CarPlay goes beyond simply showing information on your iPhone to actual hardware integration with your car.

The coolest part of the new CarPlay experience is how it adjusts to multi-display dashboards and screens based on the car.

Freeform is Apple’s take on digital whiteboard apps:

Whiteboard applications are popular right now because so many people use them for remote meetings, online collaboration, and presentations.

Freeform will be released later this year on iOS 16, iPadOS 16, and macOS Ventura.

Mac and AAA gaming:

Apple's drive to make its Macs truly AAA gaming machines was perhaps the biggest surprise (and the least expected announcement).

It may appear like Apple is taking a little step into the gaming world, but the impact may be enormous if developers begin supporting AAA titles for Macs.
