Apple used the WWDC 2022 stage to unveil not only new software updates such as iOS 16 and watchOS 9, but also new hardware, the spotlight is on brand's newly revamped MacBook Air.

The 2022 MacBook Air now has an M2 chip (though the M1-based Air will still be available), a notched display, MagSafe support, and other upgrades.

The 2022 MacBook Air has a bigger 13.6-inch display with narrower bezels on both sides.

The new Air is 11mm thick and comes in four colours: silver, space grey, starlight gold, and midnight blue.

Apple claims the laptop now boasts 500 nits of peak brightness on the display, and the Air now has a silent, fan-less design.

The new MacBook Air retains the Touch Bar, which has been removed from newer MacBook Pro models. However, the Touch Bar model is more expensive than the ordinary 2022 MacBook Air.

A new power converter with two USB-C ports that charges the MacBook Air to 80% in only 20 minutes is now available.

MacBook Air (2022) price starts at $1,199 (roughly Rs. 93,300). It will be available from next month onwards.
