Telegram, the popular messaging app, has introduced its premium services. Telegram users will not be charged for existing features, but they will have access to new ones such as doubled limits, 4 GB file uploads, quicker downloads, exclusive stickers and reactions, enhanced chat management, and more. Non-premium Telegram users will be able to utilise certain premium features without having to pay anything.
“After giving it some thought, we realised that the only way to let our most demanding fans get more while keeping our existing features free is to make those raised limits a paid option,” Pavel Durov said on Telegram regarding the new Premium plan.

He further added, “That’s why this month we will introduce Telegram Premium, a subscription plan that allows anyone to acquire additional features, speed and resources. It will also allow users to support Telegram and join the club that receives new features first. “

4GB Upload
Non-premium Telegram users can upload files up to 2GB in size. Users will now be able to send 4 GB files, which is enough capacity for 4 hours of 1080p video or 18 days of high-quality audio, thanks to the launch of the premium subscription plan. Both premium and non-paid users can download the extra-large documents.
